Zum Thema Social Media erschien der Artikel "Der Tik-Doc", in dem es um Mental-Health-Influencer und pseudo Psycholog*innen geht, welche oft nicht einmal als Psychotherapeut:innen ausgebildet sind. Darauf fallen viele Verzweifelte und Hilfesuchende rein und begeben sich in vermeintliche Behandlung, mit realen Konsequenzen die bis zum Tod führen können.

This is a very fast Illustration for SPIEGEL Magazine Nr.39 / September 19 2025. On the topic Social Media the article " Der Tic-Doc" (the tic-doc) by Tobias Hausdorf talks about the trending mental health influencers who often enough cause more harm than good. Most of the so called therapists do not even have any kind of formal education in the area of mental health or psychiatry. Many people in need or in urgent search for treatment end up as easy pray to these fake practitioners. This dangerous, often money-driven fraud, can result in gaslighting, harm and even death.
